Mary Kate and Ashley have a come a long way since Full House and their cheesy home videos and movies. Thank goodness they have focused on fashion - because it seems like that's where they belong. One thing about these twins that isn't the same is their personal style - which reflects in their versatile and fun clothing lines. Almost every fashionista has heard about the line Elizabeth and James, but what you might not have known is that the creative team behind the brand is Mary Kate and Ashley. From shoes, clothing, and accessories this brand has it all for the trendy girl looking for some great pieces to spice up her wardrobe. Here are a few of my current faves.
Spring Elizabeth Blazer, $545
Salivia Dress, $545
Wishbone Studs, $65
Billy Tweed Shorts, $285
Another fashionable lady who has come a long way since her "Simple Life" days is Nicole Richie and her House of Harlow 1960 brand. Named after her and hubby Joel Madden's daughter, House of Harlow 1960 has a laid back hippie feel which emulates Nicole's natural style. The brand offers shoes and accessories that definitely stand out.
Kelly Crochet Flat, $198
Sun Cocktail Ring, $87
More recently she has released Winter Kate which Nicole describes as clothes and styles that she wants to wear - and she does! The collections offers tailored, fitted skirts (like this one on Nicole) and flowy, casual looks as well. It definitely has a lot to offer for the girl who wants to stand out!
Tilda Skirt, $157.50
Heath Floral Print Maxi Skirt, $225
And who could forget Posh Spice? Mrs. David Beckham has sure done well for herself in the fashion world. Nearly every A-list celebrity has been seen wearing her fashion forward, sleek dresses. Her looks are definitely not affordable for the every day girl, but they certainly are interesting! Here are some great looks from Victoria Beckham.
Two Tone Silk Lame Dress, $2130
Embellished Parachute-Silk Gown, $5105
Even so, the Celebrity Designer of our generation is Gwen Stefani. Her fashion line L.A.M.B (Love Angel Music Baby) made it's runway debut in 2004 and has been seen on Hollywood's elite since then. The rocker themed label emerges with handbags, fitted jackets, M.C. Hammer esque pants, and sky high heels. Here are some looks I think are fun and easy:
L.A.M.B. Silk Pants $149
L.A.M.B. Tuxedo Blazer, $398
Signature Tribal Williamsfield Tote, $298
Even if their looks aren't your cup of tea, you have to commend these creative ladies for getting great reviews from who's who in fashion. Unlike other brands like Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton, these lines are hitting Fashion Weeks all over - way to go ladies!
XOXO, Allison
